Elmer

Elmer

Elmer is koa and has the unmistakable posture of someone who has just remembered something troubling.

He is not particularly social, but does enjoy standing near conversations and reacting silently to them.

The large swirl through his center is, according to Elmer, a map. He has declined to say of where, citing “obvious securityconcerns.”

He is generally reliable, although he has been known to disappear for several hours and return with absolutely noexplanation.

Wood: Koa

Disposition: Watchful. Secretive. Surprisingly punctual.

Current concern: Won’t say.

Care & Upkeep

Elmer is finished with a food-safe natural wax that will gently evolve with use, developing additional character over time. Because each board is handcrafted from solid wood, variations in color, grain, and finish are part of what makes every piece unique. To keep the wood conditioned, apply a food-safe natural wax as needed and avoid prolonged soaking or the dishwasher. We think Elmer only gets better with age.
