Cecil

Cecil

Cecil has survived several things he refuses to discuss.

He is adamant that the hole is for ventilation. When reminded that he is a piece of wood and does not require ventilation, Cecilbecomes extremely reserved.

The small circles along his shoulder are, according to him, medals. No one remembers awarding them. One appears to be for swimming.

Disposition: Decorated. Guarded. Mildly inconvenienced.

Number of confirmed medals: None.

Care & Upkeep

Cecil is finished with a food-safe natural wax that will gently evolve with use, developing additional character over time. Because each board is handcrafted from solid wood, variations in color, grain, and finish are part of what makes every piece unique. To keep the wood conditioned, apply a food-safe natural wax as needed and avoid prolonged soaking or the dishwasher. We think Cecil only gets better with age.
