Growing up in San Clemente, California, Emma developed an early love for coastal living and the sense of freedom it brings. From a young age, she was surrounded by the ocean, and her constant travels around the world only deepened her understanding of what it means to have a bikini that’s not just beautiful, but well-made—designed to move with you, withstand saltwater, and last season after season.

In 2020, Emma decided to take a leap and turn her passion for the ocean and design into something tangible. She launched Avenue Swim, her own bikini brand, handcrafting each piece herself, one stitch at a time. Determined to align her work with the sustainable lifestyle she cherished, she sourced only recycled, eco-friendly materials. Every bikini was sewn with care in her small, one-woman workshop, where she oversaw every detail from start to finish.

The journey wasn’t easy—there were long nights and countless prototypes—but Emma remained committed to her vision: creating high-quality swimwear that was both functional and kind to the planet. Today, Avenue Swim continues to grow, yet Emma has stayed true to her roots. Each bikini is still made with the same love and attention to detail, designed to last and to help people feel confident whether they’re lounging by the beach or catching waves under the sun.
